NATURE CLASSROOM
1. In our nature classroom we connect students with the natural environment and hands-on educational experiences where students can explore gardens, ponds, trails, and open fields and engage them with plant life directly.
NAKSHATRA VANAM
Nakshatra Vanam is a concept where specific trees and plants are associated with the 27 Nakshatras (lunar mansions) in Vedic astrology. Each Nakshatra is believed to correspond to a particular plant or tree, which is said to have spiritual and astrological significance.
ENVIRONMENT EDUCATION CENTRE
It is a dedicated space designed to educate people about environmental conservation, sustainability, and ecological awareness. Here we offer workshops, interactive exhibits and to engage visitors, including students, professionals, and the general public. And in AV Hall we enhance the learning experience by providing multimedia presentations, documentaries, and audio-visual tools.
LOTUS PONDS
Lotus Ponds are serene water bodies designed to cultivate and showcase the lotus flower, a symbol of purity, beauty, and spiritual significance in many cultures. In our lotus ponds we have 16 varieties of aquatic species. These ponds are typically shallow, with calm, clean water to support the growth of lotus plants, whose large, vibrant flowers float on the surface. Lotus ponds are often found in gardens, temples, and parks, serving as tranquil spaces for reflection and meditation.
CACTUS GARDEN
It features a diverse collection of cactus and succulent plants, known for their ability to thrive in arid, desert-like conditions. This garden showcase 33 varieties of species with unique
HERBAL MEDICINAL GARDEN
These gardens feature a wide variety of herbs used in traditional medicine systems like Ayurveda, Chinese medicine, and herbalism. Common plants include aloe vera, turmeric, tulsi (holy basil), and mint, each each valued for its healing potential.The garden serves both educational and practical purposes, allowing visitors to learn about the medicinal uses of different plants and promoting the conservation of rare and endangered species.
NAVAGRAHA VANAM
NAVA means nine, GRAHA means planets, VANA means garden. The cosmic energies of the Navagraha or nine planets are believed to influence life on earth. The nine grahas are Surya, Chandra, Mangala, Budha, Guru, Shukra, Shani, Rahu and Ketu. The Navagraha vana is the selection of nine plants, trees, shrubs, bushes and grass to be planted in the appropriate direction. The presence of the grahas maintains the overall balance of energy in the universe. Each of these graha is associated with an energy quality and is said to affect each one of us throughout our lives.
ACUPRESSURE ZONE
An Acupressure Zone is a dedicated healing area, designed to stimulate specific pressure points on the body through walking or gentle pressure. Walking barefoot in an acupressure zone helps to enhance circulation, reduce stress, alleviate pain, and promote overall wellness by naturally stimulating these pressure points.
ORCHIDS FERNS
Orchids are a diverse and widespread family of flowering plants, known for their unique and often fragrant blooms. They come in variety of shapes, sizes, and colours. Their intricate flowers are adapted to attract specific pollinators. Orchids are prized for their beauty and long-lasting flowers.Ferns are ancient, non-flowering plants known for their delicate, feathery fronds. They reproduce via spores rather than seeds and are commonly found in moist, shaded environments like forests and wetlands. They come in a wide variety of species, ranging from small, ground-cover plants to large tree ferns.
RASI VANAM
Rasi Vanam is designed according to the 12 zodiac signs (Rasis) in Vedic astrology. Each zodiac sign is associated with specific trees or plants believed to have spiritual and astrological significance. People visit Rasi Vanam to connect with plants corresponding to their astrological sign, offering prayers or performing rituals to attract positive influences or mitigate negative effects related to their horoscope.
YOGA CENTRE
We have a dedicated space where individuals practice yoga, a holistic discipline combining physical postures (asanas), breathing exercises (pranayama), meditation, and mindfulness.
